Thanks for dropping by. Here I have another set of wedding stories to share. Recently we got the opportunity to photograph a wedding recently at St Giles Hotel The Gardens. And it was very early in the morning.
The preparation.....
The preparation bride's side.....
Bride's maid getting ready.....
The evil plan.....
The groom's arrival.....
The enthusiast.....
The excitement.....
The emotional hug.....
Getting emotional.....
The closing of the veil.....
The torturing and havoc.....
The waiting bride.....
The father's smile.....
The extortion....
The final obstacle.....
The contract.....
The approach.....
The tea ceremony.....
The group photo.....
Leaving the hotel.....
It was a tricky situation to photographed the picture above. It was almost pitch black as it was still around 6.00 am or so if I remembered correctly. Nonetheless, we manage to get the shot.
Emotional farewell.....
The alone time.....
It was an emotional moment for daddy. I notice daddy standing at the corner and I took this photo for the bride to remember how much daddy loves her.
The coming back.....
The victory.....
The prayer.....
" Tong Sui " eating.....
Group phoro session.....
The walk to the room.....
Bed rolling ritual......
The bed rolling ritual is usually done by the youngest children of the family. In this case, the youngest children is not what we call children to be honest. Nonetheless, it was hilarious and most importantly, they had fun.
The kiss.....
The couple portrait session.....
Group photo session again.....
Flowing tossing.....
More couple portrait outdoor.....
It was such a fun and pleasant wedding experience. Everything was smooth and thank God no hiccups.
Every wedding is unique and moments are always there to be captured. I am always looking out for moments. I don't actually spend to much time on setting up the most artistic shot in the world just to make my portfolio look nice. You will see me spending most of the time observing and concentrating on you, in fact sometime starring at you to capture the precise moments when it happens. What my aim is to get genuine smile and genuine expression and reaction. Mom's smiling, mom and bride hugging while dad is looking at them emotionally. Those to me, is much more meaningful and priceless.
Hiring a wedding photographer in my honest opinion is not just the money factor. Yes, it is one of the main factor to decide. But client must also look into the relationship part. One of the most important factor is also to choose a photographer that your are comfortable to work with. As I always tell my clients. your need to be comfortable with me around you and sometimes even very closed to you most of the time. As I will be the one that will spend most of the time with you during your wedding day. I always suggest to our clients that we need to build a friendship first before anything else. To know more about each other. That way, hopefully you wont feel uneasy when we are around during your wedding day.
