Welcome to my blog. Its been a very busy and crazy period this couple of month. Despite that, I am glad we still get the chance to share with you all out there yet another wedding that me and my wife did.
As usual, we start out journey early in order to capture these shots. The bride doing the make up. It was early and mos of the family members are still sleeping.
For this particular shot below, the room has quite a lot of stuff. And its very normal. Wait till you see our room. You will need to sweep things lying around with your foot while walking pass.
And to counter this challenge, we used the door as an isolation. And it kinda isolate the stuff inside the room and concentrate the photo on the bride and make up artist.
The photo below is the usual during make up photo of the bride. Usually we will wait until about 60% to 70% make up done when we take this type of shots. For sure, the bride will not want a photo without the make up on and face that looks like they just woke up from the bed.
With proper photography gears and equipment to blur he background and isolate the background from the bride.
It was a relaxing and calm morning. Until the groom arrived. Things starts to get crazy.
And as usual, every wedding will have their own gate crashing games.
And after all the craziness, is time to get back to serious business.

For the photo above, we think is nice to change the color to black and white. It bring our the "feel" to the image. But as always, we gave our client both version nonetheless.
A genuine smile from the bride's mom while looking at daddy. Sweet.....
During the tea ceremony.
A family portrait of the bride's side
A group photos of the bride's made.
How can we miss a fun photo?
And as they we entering the car, I got this shot while they we preparing to close the door and start the journey to the groom's house.

The photo below is just one of my favorites. It was natural and sweet.....
Once we have done with all the ceremony and rituals, I get the bride and grooms for a couple portrait session.

And comes dinner time......
There was a special violin performance. And it was so cool having a real violinist playing while the bride and groom is macing in.
For the photo below. During the cake cutting ceremony, I usually will go up the stage to get this shot.

And we will also get this shot as well.
And after all the usual ceremony and the wedding is almost ending, its time for toasting ( Yam Sing )
And after all that is done, how can we miss a family portrait with session.

The wedding wend on smoothly without any hiccups. Every one was having a good time. It was another exciting wedding photography task for us.
Every wedding is unique and moments are always there to be captured. I am always looking out for moments. I don't actually spend to much time on setting up the most artistic shot in the world just to make my portfolio look nice. You will see me spending most of the time observing and concentrating on you, infarct sometime starring at you to capture the precise moments when it happens. What my aim is to get genuine smile and genuine expression and reaction. Mom's smiling, mom and bride hugging while dad is looking at them emotionally. Those to me, is much more meaningful and priceless.
Hiring a wedding photographer in my honest opinion is not just the money factor. Yes, it is one of the main factor to decide. But client must also look into the relationship part. One of the most important factor is also to choose a photographer that your are comfortable to work with. As I always tell my clients. your need to be comfortable with me around you and sometimes even very closed to you most of the time. As I will be the one that will spend most of the time with you during your wedding day. I always suggest to our clients that we need to build a friendship first before anything else. To know more about each other. That way, hopefully you wont feel uneasy when we are around during your wedding day.
