Anyway, thanks for dropping by. Here is a set of Church Wedding Photography with a lovely Indian family way back months ago. To recall, it was a gentle and calm wedding day. For once, we do not have crazy games going around eating worms and some other disgusting things. All was calm and gentle. It makes it elegant and grand.
Enjoy the photos.....
The preparation.
Saw the flower girl coming up the stair getting a peep on the bride and "gotcha"
The make up process.
The prayer and blessing by the bride's parent
As the bride was stading there with her eyes shut, I took these portrait of her.
The marching
A message by one of the Pastor
The vow
The ritual
The parent approved portrait
And after all the serious work done. We manage to get some portraits of the newly married couple event with such a limited time. Its worth it.
Come dinner reception.
The marching in
A speech from the favorite uncle.
The response from his joke
The cake cutting ceremony.
The wine pouring ritual
A thank you speech from the lovely couple
Took this when they were finally seated
Saw this and I have to capture it.
A speech from the bride's sister
And the wedding goes on with plenty of group and family photo as we guide the bride arounf tables to tables for photography session.
For me, I always put it as a priority to do so because i felt that it is important to know who came to your wedding and have a photograph taken with them.
Every wedding is unique and moments are always there to be captured. I am always looking out for moments. I don't actually spend to much time on setting up the most artistic shot in the world just to make my portfolio look nice. You will see me spending most of the time observing and concentrating on you, in fact sometime starring at you to capture the precise moments when it happens. What my aim is to get genuine smile and genuine expression and reaction. Mom's smiling, mom and bride hugging while dad is looking at them emotionally. Those to me, is much more meaningful and priceless.
Hiring a wedding photographer in my honest opinion is not just the money factor. Yes, it is one of the main factor to decide. But client must also look into the relationship part. One of the most important factor is also to choose a photographer that your are comfortable to work with. As I always tell my clients. your need to be comfortable with me around you and sometimes even very closed to you most of the time. As I will be the one that will spend most of the time with you during your wedding day. I always suggest to our clients that we need to build a friendship first before anything else. To know more about each other. That way, hopefully you wont feel uneasy when we are around during your wedding day.
